In DC vs RCB clash, Virat Kohli created history in the IPL. He became the first player ever to score 9000 runs in the tournament. This is a huge achievement and shows his consistency over the years. He is the only player in the league so far to play all the 19 seasons with one team. 

He came into the match with 8989 runs. Virat Kohli started his innings with a stylish four off Dushmantha Chameera. The shot went straight over the bowler’s head. It set the tone for his innings.

The historic moment came when he took a single off Axar Patel. The crowd stood up and cheered loudly. It was a proud moment for Kohli, as he achieved this milestone on his home ground.

Virat smashed 23 runs on 15 balls to help RCB win vs DC by 9 wickets in his own home ground delhi. His innings helped the team chase the target easily. Earlier, Delhi Capitals batting lineup brutally collapsed and could manage only 75 runs in 16.3 overs.
