Virat Kohli, Gautam Gambhir and other cricketers express grief over lives lost in Odisha Train Accident

Prominent Indian cricketers like Virat Kohli, Gautam Gambhir have expressed grief over lives lost in train accident in Odisha.
People are grieving over Balasore Train Accident that killed more than 230 people and injured more than 900 on board. Indian cricketers have also expressed their sorrow over the lives lost in this massive accident last evening. The accident took place in Odisha’s Balasore district. Three collided in and as a result, their coaches went on top of one another. First Coromandel Express collided with a freight train then the Howrah-Yeshwantpur Express collided with Coromandel Express near Bahanaga Bazar station in Balasore. From Virat Kohli, Harbhajan Singh, VVS Laxman to Virender Sehwag and many others have expressed their grief.
Former Indian captain Virat Kohli tweeted, “Saddened to hear about the tragic train accident in Odisha. My thoughts and prayers go out to the families who lost their loved ones and wishing a speedy recovery to the injured.” Former Indian off-spinner and currently a member of parliament, Harbhajan Singh tweeted, “Pained to know about railway accident in Odisha involving Coromandel Express and another passenger train (Howrah-Yeshwantpur) Thoughts and prayers with the families of those who lost their near and dear ones. Appeal to Railway minister India and Govt. of Odisha to rescue the passenger at the earliest”.
The government issued a helpline number after the accident. Former Indian opener Gautam Gambhir also expressed his grief and tweeted, “Devastated by the loss of lives in Odisha. May God give strength to the families of victims. Wishing speedy recovery to those injured. Nation stands with you”. Irfan Pathan tweeted, “Heart wrenching news coming from Odisha. My thoughts and prayers for the families who lost their lives in the horrific train accident”. Officials in Bhubaneswar have arranged everything possible for the medical treatment of every passenger who suffered injuries.
Former Indian middle-order batter VVS Laxman also tweeted in sorrow, “Extremely disheartened to learn about this very unfortunate accident in Odisha. I play for a speedy recovery of the injured and offer my sincere condolences to those who have lost their loved ones”. Virender Sehwag tweeted, “Extremely sad hearing about this tragic train accident involving coromandel express in Odisha. Condolences to the families who have lost their loved ones and pray for quick recovery of those injured”.
