Virat Kohli bagged a four-ball duck in the second ODI against Australia in Adelaide.
Indian Cricket Team batter Virat Kohli’s comeback has turned into a nightmare as he bagged his second consecutive duck in the ongoing ODI series against Australia. The penultimate game of the series between the teams is taking place at the Adelaide Oval in Adelaide.
On a ground, where he loves batting, he had a dreadful outing as he bagged a four-ball duck. He came out at the crease after skipper Shubman Gill got out early. It was expected that he would be there along with Rohit Sharma and the duo together would bail the team out of trouble.
However, that wasn’t the case as his stay lasted just four balls as Xavier Bartlett trapped him lbw. The crowd got absolutely stunned as they came out in huge numbers to see him play. Even after he got out, they were behind him, applauding him for in what possibly was his last outing in Adelaide.
However, one thing that caught the attention of many was Virat Kohli’s reaction to the crowd after they were cheering for him. He acknowledged them by raising his hands, hinting at his retirement.

Although there is no confirmation, but with talks related to his retirement being there for the last few months, many have speculated that this might be his final outing. Kohli will have an opportunity to bat again when India take on Australia in the last match of the series.
The game will be played in Sydney on October 25 and Kohli will be under massive pressure. Having bagged two back-to-back ducks, which happened for the first time in his career, he would want to end the tour on a high and give his fans something to cheer about.
Coming to the second IND vs AUS ODI, India had a poor start with the bat, losing two wickets early. However, Rohit Sharma, who struggled initially, slammed a blistering fifty, ending with an innings of 73. Shreyas Iyer (61) also hammered fifties as India made a slight comeback.
