When Yashasvi will look back on his innings and the praises he got, he will know he did something unfathomable to many when you get applauded by one of the bests. In the process, Jaiswal's knock broke the record for the fastest fifty in the history of IPL as the swashbuckler scored a 13-ball fifty.

Falling shy of just two runs from his second IPL century of the season, Jaiswal's demolition consisted of 5 sixes and 13 fours. The RR opener left no part of the ground untouched with his finesse and flawless range-hitting. It was because of his efforts that RR managed to close one of the fastest chases of 150 or plus runs in the league's history.

A Royal Night of Records for Rajasthan at the home of Knights

In an all-important night for both teams who looked to make their way into the top four, it was the setup of the Royals who went home happy. A game that saw a play of less than 35 overs, witnessed some of the greatest and record-breaking moments in the history of IPL.

Yuzvendra Chahal, who was the joint-highest wicket-taker in IPL before the start of the game, required just one more wicket to go past Dwayne Bravo to become the most successful bowler in IPL. His spell of 4-0-25-4 earned him the badge of the highest wicket-taker in the history of IPL with 187 wickets and counting.

The next in line was Yashasvi Jaiswal who spread his magic with bat in his hands. Breaking the erstwhile record of the 14-ball fastest fifty in IPL, Jaiswal thundered a 13-ball fifty to correct the history. Courtesy of these match-winning performances, RR hopped to the third spot and are now looking good to end in the top four with this crucial win under their belt.
