Virat Kohli slammed his 51st ODI century against Pakistan in ICC Champions Trophy 2025.

The ICC Champions Trophy 2025 has lived up to its hype and showcased some remarkable individual performances. The tournament has presented good batting wickets and has already witnessed 10 centuries.

Virat Kohli joined the list of centurions after smashing an unbeaten ton against Pakistan in Dubai on February 23.

With all the top batsmen in action, there has been significant movement in the ICC ODI batting rankings.

Thanks to his back-to-back impressive performances against Bangladesh and Pakistan, India opener Shubman Gill has strengthened his position at the top of the ICC ODI batting rankings.

The 26-year-old gained 21 rating points, moving up to 817 and increasing the gap with second-placed Babar Azam from 23 to 47 points.

Kohli’s heroics against Pakistan have helped him go past New Zealand’s Daryl Mitchell to fifth place, while India wicket-keeper KL Rahul has climbed to the 15th spot after his 41-run knock against Bangladesh.

Centurions from the opening match of the tournament, Will Young and Tom Latham, are placed 14th and 30th, while Rachin Ravindra’s century against Bangladesh has lifted him 18 places to 24th spot.

Australian wicket-keepers Alex Carey and Josh Inglis, who played a key role in Australia’s historic win against England in Lahore, are now ranked 50th and 81st in the world.

On the other hand, the Bangladesh duo of Towhid Hridoy (up 18 places to 64th) and Jaker Ali (up 64 places to 94th), have also climbed in the latest weekly rankings update, which considers performances until Tuesday, February 25.

The group stage of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 will conclude on March 2. The semi-finals are scheduled for March 4 and 5, with the final set to take place on March 9.
