Virender Sehwag's response to Yuvraj Singh's query about India's ability to win World Cup

Virender Sehwag replies on Yuvraj Singh's query about India's chances to win the upcoming ICC Cricket World Cup 2023.
Team India are all set to head into the upcoming ICC Cricket World Cup 2023. They will be hosting the entire tournament and have a great chance to end the ICC trophy drought. Indian team have struggled to win an ICC title in a decade. They won the last ICC tournament in 2013, when MS Dhoni led the team to victory in Champions Trophy.
But the 2011 World Cup that was held in India saw India win the tournament. So can this Indian team repeat the same success and guide India to their third World Cup title, or will it be the same old story that we have been witnessing for the past ten years? Former India star and vital member of the 2007 and 2011 World Cup-winning teams, Yuvraj Singh, also questioned the same.
Virender Sehwag responds to Yuvraj Singh's query about India's strength to win the World Cup 2023
Yuvraj Singh was one of India's heroes at the 2011 World Cup. With 362 runs and 15 wickets, Yuvraj Singh was the player of the tournament. However, the former star took to X (formerly known as Twitter) and posted a question. He wrote, "We all want a repeat of 2011 in #ICCWorldCup23, but In 2011, #TeamIndia shined under pressure. In 2023, again, the team is under pressure to perform. Do we have enough time to turn this around? Can we use this pressure to become a game changer?"
Soon, he got a response from Virender Sehwag, who was also part of the 2011 World Cup-winning squad. He stated that Indian have players like Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Shubman Gill, Hardik Pandya, and Jasprit Bumrah who won't struggle under pressure, instead, they will handle it easily.
Sehwag responded, "Ayi baat pressure ki, toh iss bar hum pressure lenge nahi, denge! Like champions! Peechle 12 saal mein, host team world cup jeeti hain!" He also highlighted that since 2011, it's been the hosts that have won the tournament, and as India are the hosts this time around, there is a positive chance that they can win the tournament. There is no doubt that India are favourites to win the trophy. India have announced a well-balanced squad that has some big names, and some players are doing well in recent times.
