Big blow for Sri Lanka as Wanindu Hasaranga gets ruled out of T20I series against Bangladesh with hamstring injury

Wanindu Hasaranga sustained hamstring injury during the third ODI against Bangladesh.
Sri Lanka Cricket Team have faced a big blow ahead of their upcoming T20I series against Bangladesh Cricket Team. Their key spinner Wanindu Hasaranga has been ruled out of the T20I series due to a hamstring injury.
Hasaranga sustained the injury while batting in the third ODI against Bangladesh. He will now travel to Colombo to start his rehabilitation process. Notably, Sri Lanka have not named any replacement for Hasaranga. The T20I series between Sri Lanka and Bangladesh consists three games.
The opening game will be played on July 10 at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium, Pallekele. The second T20I will take place on July 13 at the Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium, Dambulla. The final encounter will be played at the R. Premadasa Stadium, Colombo, on July 16.

Meanwhile, Wanindu Hasaranga showed a wonderful form in the ODI series. He captured nine wickets across three games at an average of 11.67. He ended as the top wicket-taker in the series.
Notably, the T20I series between both the sides will be the last leg of the multi-format series between both the sides. Sri Lanka earlier won the test series 1-0 and then won the ODI series 2-1. The first test ended in a draw, but then Sri Lanka won the second game by an innings and 78 runs.
In the ODI series, Sri Lanka won the first match by 77 runs. Hasaranga played a key role in the match, picking up a four-wicket haul. Later, Bangladesh won the second ODI by 16 runs. In the third clash, Sri Lanka outplayed Bangladesh by 99 runs to win the series 2-1.
