The best ten teams will be competing in the marquee event in India, which will have a total of 48 games. In a recent interview, Waqar boldly picked India to win the mega event and said that it will be hard for other teams to match the firepower of India.

Waqar said, “If we only talk about ticking the boxes, then we will see no other team can match India; even Pakistan or any other team will not match India right now, but also they have a strong bench strength. So, if by any chance, they face any injuries, the players who are sitting at the bench can’t be ignored due to their fantastic current form"

The former Pakistani legend also stated that the current Pakistani team is weaker than India. However, he also said that when it comes to playing in Ahmedabad in front of a big crowd, the pressure will be equal on both sides. The high-voltage clash between India and Pakistan is scheduled to be played on October 14 at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
