The first test between the teams is scheduled to commence on October 2 at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. On Tuesday (30th September), during the training session, Sundar got hurt with reports also suggesting that he skipped the fielding drills due to his injury.
He bowled for a long time during the practice session, but later experienced discomfort in his finger. Sundar even asked the medical staff for an extra taping on his hand.
