RR vs GT: Watch - Confusion between Yashasvi Jaiswal and Sanju Samson results in former being run-out
RR opener Yashasvi Jaiswal was run-out on 14 against Gujarat Titans.
Centurion in the last game, Yashasvi Jaiswal had a disappointing game against Gujarat Titans. It was a comedy of error for Rajasthan Royals against Titans. Rajasthan Royals got off to a cautious start against Titans pacers Hardik Pandya and Mohammed Shami. They had also lost an early wicket as Jos Buttler. After an early wicket, captain Sanju Samson and opener Yashasvi Jaiswal were steering the inning cautiously. In the sixth over, Rajasthan Royals got another setback as their in-form opening batter Yashasvi Jaiswal became a victim of a poor call between the captain and himself.
Error on judgement puts RR in trouble
In the 6th over Gujarat Titans captain Hardik Pandya brought in leg-spinner Rashid Khan to bowl. Captain Sanju Samson tried to smash a boundary and put pressure on the bowler. Samson played a cut shot which was saved by Abhinav Manohar, citing the pace of the shot Sanju asked Jaiswal to run and then later he was back in his crease. In between Yashasvi Jaiswal had reached more than half of the wicket, making it impossible for him to return. In the meantime, Mohit Sharma picked up the ball and threw it back to Rashid Khan at non-striker where Jaiswal was short of his crease and had to go back in the dugout on just 14 runs.

Rajasthan Royals are struggling to build a partnership against Gujarat Titans. Titans' bowlers are bowling in tight lines to keep Royals' big hitters away from the big score. Apart from Yashasvi Jaiswal (14) and captain Sanju Samson (30), no batter could touch a double-digit score. Jos Buttler (8), Ravi Ashwin (2), and Riyan Parag (4) got out cheaply. Rashid Khan and Josh Little had troubled the Royals batter with their superb bowling. Jaiswal’s run-out has put the team under pressure as well. The Royals lost 5 wickets under 10 overs.
