David Warner pulled out the infamous 'Pushpa Raaj' celebration yet again.

David Warner was in the thick of things when Australia clashed with Pakistan in their second and final warm-up match at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Uppal, Hyderabad ahead of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023.

Pat Cummins won the toss and chose to bat first on a typical Hyderabad wicket. David Warner (48) and Mitchell Marsh (31) gave a good start to Australia, adding 83 runs for the first wicket. They had some slowdown in middle overs with Steve Smith (27), Alex Carey (11), and Marnus Labuschagne (40) getting out in relatively quick succession.

But Australia managed to post 351/7 in 50 overs thanks to Glenn Maxwell (77) and Cameron Green’s 50*. Usama Mir took two wickets for Pakistan.

In response, Pakistan’s innings got off to a shaky start as they lost two early wickets with just 50 runs on the board. A reliable partnership was very necessary for the team's chances to turn around. Pakistan's aspirations, however, were dashed thanks to Sean Abbott and David Warner working together.

In the 12th over, Sean Abbot banged one short of length to Abdullah Shafique. The Pakistani batter attempted to heave the ball across the line. However, the shot wasn’t quite on, and he ended up dragging the ball across, resulting in a top edge.

The ball looped up towards mid-off, where David Warner positioned himself perfectly. After completing a simple catch, Warner did the Allu Arjun “Jhukegaa nahi saala” celebration from the movie “Pushpa”.

Warner’s celebration was immediately the topic of conversation. Cheers erupted from the audience, and the incident quickly caught the interest of cricket enthusiasts all over the world. The Australian opener is known for his Instagram videos where he dances to Indian songs, especially on Allu Arjun songs.
