Watch: 8 sixes in 10 balls; Dipendra Singh-Airee smashes fastest ever fifty in T20I cricket

Dipendra Singh-Airee smashed the fastest ever T20I fifty in just 9 deliveries.
Nepal have smashed several batting records against Mongolia in the Asian Games 2023. In a record-breaking batting display in Hangzhou, Nepal registered the highest ever T20I total (314/3) in the history and also the highest win margin in the history of the game. Nepal thrashed Mongolia by 273 runs in the Men's Cricket event opener. It was a dominant batting display from Nepali batters as they hit 26 sixes in their innings.
Record-breaking match for Rohit Paudel and his men !
Nepal went on to score 314 runs in their 20 overs with Kushal Malla scoring the fastest ever century in T20I format overtaking Indian captain Rohit Sharma and David Miller. Kushalla Malla smashed his century in just 34 balls, one quicker than Rohit Sharma and David Miller. Malla smashed 137 runs in 50 balls with 8 fours and 12 sixes. Kushal Malla came in to bat at Number 3. Nepal after the opening powerplay accelerated their scoring rate.
After Kushal Malla, All-rounder Dipender Singh-Airee overshadowed everyone with just 10 balls cameo. Aerie smashed 8 sixes in his 10 balls innings, 6 consecutively to make the fastest T20I 50 record in his name. Dipendra left behind Yuvraj Singh in this record as he was 2 balls quicker in completing the fastest-ever half-century in T20I cricket. Yuvraj Singh took 12 balls to complete his fifty against England in Durban. He smashed 6 sixes in an over to Stuart Broad.

Captain Rohit Paudel also contributed immensely to Nepal’s 314 total. Malla smashed 61 runs in 27 balls with 2 fours and 6 sixes. Kushal Malla and captain Rohit Paudel added 193 runs in just 11 overs for the 3rd wicket partnership. Mongolian bowlers had no answer against Nepal’s attack. They looked clueless with their line and length in a small ground at Pingfeng Campus Cricket Field.
Nepal also made a new record for the highest win margin as well. They defeated an inexperienced Mongolian side by 273 runs. Mongolia could only score 41 runs in their 315-run chase. Apart from one batter, none could go on and touch the double-digit score. 8 Mongolian batters got out on just one run score or without opening their account. Sandeep Lamichchane (2/7), Abhinav Bohara (2/2), and Karan Chhetri (2/1) bowled magnificent spells.
