Watch: Fight erupts between Gautam Gambhir and S Sreesanth in LLC 2023
Gautam Gambhir-led Indian Capitals defeated Gujarat Giants in LLC eliminator.
Former Indian opener Gautam Gambhir has always been the center of attention while playing or even out of the park. Once again he is in middle of a controversy as he exchanged a few fiery words with his former Indian teammate Sreesanth in a Legends League Cricket game. The incident happened in a game between India Capitals and Gujarat Giants played in Surat. Gautam Gambhir led the India Capitals side to win the game by 12 runs in the eliminator.
It all started when Gautam Gambhir hit Sreesanth for a four and a six on his way to scoring a match-winning fifty. Pacer Sreesanth gave a long stare to Gautam Gambhir after being smashed for boundaries in his spell. Gambhir played two dot-balls and then Sreesanth again stared at Gambhir. The former Indian batter was not amused with Sreesanth’s reaction and stared back at him. After the over was finished, they both fired a few words with each other while changing the ends.
This is what paned out between Gambhir and Sreesanth
They both came closer and umpires and Gujarat Giants skipper Parthiv Patel had to intervene and push both of them away. Gambhir and Sreesanth had an animated talk which made other players uncomfortable during the action. Fans were also not pleased with the two former Indian teammates showing aggression against each other. Gambhir also had a similar incident with Former Indian skipper Virat Kohli during an Indian Premier League game between RCB and Lucknow.

He also added that he was disappointed with the behaviour of Gambhir on the field.
