India Women players sang the victory song together after ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025 final win.

India Women Cricket Team revealed their victory song after crushing South Africa Women by 52 runs in the final of ICC Women Cricket World Cup 2025 on Sunday, November 2. In front of the home crowd at Dr. DY Patil Sports Academy in Navi Mumbai, Harmanpreet Kaur & Co. scripted history by winning their first-ever ICC title.

After being asked to bat first in the summit clash, India Women piled up 298/7 in the first innings, with half-centuries by Shafali Verma (87) and Deepti Sharma (58). Later, Deepti also grabbed the limelight with the ball, clinching a five-wicket haul to help India bowl out South Africa Women for 246 runs.

Following their victory, celebrations began inside the stadium with fans cheering for Harmanpreet Kaur & Co. from the stands. Even after the stadium was emptied, many fans celebrated India’s victory outside the stadium on the streets by waving Indian flags.

In a video shared by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on X (formerly Twitter), India Women players revealed their secret victory song. Batter Jemimah Rodrigues shared that the team composed the special theme song four years ago but had decided not to reveal it until they win the World Cup. In the video, Indian players and coaching staff can be seen singing and drumming on plastic bottles to create the rhythm.

Smriti Mandhana, who got out for 45 runs in the final, finished as the team’s leading run-scorer in the tournament with 434 runs in nine games. Deepti Sharma clinched 22 wickets to end as the highest wicket-taker and was awarded Player of the Tournament.

Meanwhile, the BCCI has announced a cash reward of Rs. 51 crore for Indian Women following their victory in ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025. A victory parade is also expected to take place, however, BCCI will take a final call in the upcoming days.
