Jasprit Bumrah played his last International match against Australia in September 2022.

The wait is finally over, and Indian fans will be able to see ace pacer Jasprit Bumrah make his comeback with the team on the Ireland tour. India will lock horns with Ireland for a three-match T20I series. The first game of the series will take place on Friday at The Village in Dublin. This is a comeback series for Bumrah and Prasidh Krishna after recovering from their respective injuries.

Both bowlers were out of action for a long time. Jasprit Bumrah played his last international match against Australia in September 2022. However, he had his surgery in April and missed the 2022 T20 World Cup, IPL 2023, BGT 2023, and WTC Final. However, he is back again and looking good, and he will be captaining the side against Ireland in the absence of seniors.

The Indian team is full of youngsters and will be led by Jasprit Bumrah. The Indian team reached Dublin a couple of days ago and started its training. Sitanshu Kotak will be the interim coach of the team in the absence of Rahul Dravid, while Ruturaj Gaikwad will assist Bumrah as vice-captain. On Wednesday, the BCCI shared a video clip of the training session of the Indian team, which saw Bumrah bowling with full rhythm.

It also had the Indian team practicing at the nets, and Bumrah was seen bowling some unplayable yorkers, and Krishna was also bowling some difficult balls to other Indian batters. The video concluded with Bumrah bowling a toe-crushing yorker to Yashasvi Jaiswal, who was batting, and it brought out Bumrah’s epic celebration.

The BCCI also shared a clip on Wednesday of Bumrah’s dangerous bouncer to a right-hander, which made the batter duck under the ball. It is a great sign for the Indian team because the Asia Cup and ODI World Cup are coming up. India have struggled in their bowling department in recent times, and the return of Jasprit Bumrah will resolve some big issues for the team.
