Lalit Yadav takes an amazing catch to dismiss Ajinkya Rahane
The Yellow Army didn't get off to the normal start that Devon Conway and Ruturaj Gaikwad are known for when they open the innings. Gaikwad (24) was out on the first ball after the powerplay, while Conway (10) was dismissed during the powerplay.
After Moeen Ali was also removed, the top-order struggled to make a huge impression. After 11 overs, the scoreboard read 77/3, and in the 12th over, Ajinkya Rahane’s wicket was another blow for CSK. Warner introduced DC spinner Lalit Yadav to the attack, and he did not disappoint.
On the first delivery of the 12th over Yadav got a big fish in Rahane off his own bowling. Lalit Yadav pulled a stunning one-handed diving catch at the non-striker’s end to dismiss Rahane at the score of 21 off 20 deliveries.
