Watch: MS Dhoni receives a special birthday gift from his fans in Ranchi

MS Dhoni received an special art work from his fans on his 42nd birthday.

MS Dhoni’s birthday on 7th July has become a celebrated festival for his fans all around the world. The number 7 jersey in Indian cricket is associated with many emotions among billions of people in the cricket world. It is the love of his fans that insisted MS Dhoni continue playing in the Indian Premier League for one more season in 2024. The Ranchi-born Indian legend has celebrated many successes in his playing cricket career. While he was staying in his town in Ranchi on birthday eve, Dhoni received a warm gesture of appreciation and a special gift from his fans. 

Fans made Dhoni's Birthday special

On birthday eve, Dhoni received a few of his fans at his residence in Ranchi and received a special gift from them. A video is going viral on social media where a few of the fans gifted Dhoni an amazing artwork to the former India captain. Dhoni was also surprised to see an amazing gift from his fans wearing yellow jerseys. Dhoni had a closer look at the gift and then he posed for a few pictures with them. Recently an air hostess also gave a surprise to a Former Indian captain while he was travelling on a flight. Dhoni graciously accepted the gift and greeted his fan. Dhoni is known for the love and affection he shows towards his followers.

MS Dhoni’s former teammates have also wished MS Dhoni on his birthday. Indian wicket-keeper Rishabh Pant cut a cake to celebrate his guru’s special day. Pant posted a video on his instagram and gave a caption, “Happy Birthday Mahi bhai, aap to ho hi nhi paas, apke liye cake cur kar leta hun”. MS Dhoni won three ICC titles for Team India under his leadership. India is still empty-handed in big ICC events since MS Dhoni has left the captaincy of team India. India’s last ICC title win came in Champions Trophy 2013 in England under Dhoni’s captaincy.
