India captain Rohit Sharma at the toss said," Shardul has pulled up a niggle. He's not fit. Mukesh Kumar is going to make his debut. He has worked hard in the domestic cricket."

Mukesh Kumar, boasts an outstanding record of 149 wickets in just 39 first-class matches, maintaining an impressive average of 21.55. Kumar was even included as India's standby bowler for the ICC World Test Championship final against Australia last month in England.
