MS Dhoni crooned Kishore Kumar sung part from 'Salaam-e-Ishq meri Jaan' song.

MS Dhoni’s one-time India and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) teammate Mohit Sharma shared a rare video of the legendary cricketer singing an Amitabh Bachchan song during leisure time. This old video was shared by Mohit on the occasion of Dhoni’s 42nd birthday on July 7, 2023.

Dhoni has had a legendary career for India and CSK, for whom he turned out in the recent IPL 2023 tournament and led them to their fifth IPL title as well. This brought CSK level with Mumbai Indians when it comes to the team with the most IPL title wins.

The Ranchi-born cricketer made his India debut in 2004 in an ODI against Bangladesh and made his Test debut a year later against Sri Lanka. He soon became the go-to man of the captain due to his explosive batting abilities and improved his keeping skills to the point where he was considered to be the best gloveman in the world.

Dhoni participated in 90 Test matches, amassing 4876 runs at an average of 38.09, with six centuries and 33 half-centuries. His 294 dismissals rank first among Indian wicket-keepers in Test cricket. Along with 1617 runs in 98 T20Is, he also scored 10773 runs in 350 ODIs, including 10 tons and 73 half-centuries.

He guided India to victory in the 2007 T20 World Cup after being named as captain. Later in 2011, he succeeded Kapil Dev as the only other Indian skipper to win the 50-over World Cup in India. A few years later, Dhoni led India to their first-ever outright victory in the 2013 Champions Trophy final.

Mohit Sharma, who made his comeback into the IPL fold after two years, of playing for the Gujarat Titans, shared a rare and old video of MS Dhoni singing while in the company of his CSK friends.

Mohit was also once part of the CSK fold and had even won the Purple Cap under the guidance of MS Dhoni in IPL 2014.

Meanwhile, he shared a video of MS Dhoni crooning a song from Amitabh Bachchan's movie ‘Suhaag’. The song was ‘Salaam-e-Ishq meri jaan’ and Dhoni was seen singing the part Kishore Kumar sang for Bachchan in the song.
