Sachin Tendulkar gifted J&K para cricketer Amir Lone his signed bat as a gesture of appreciation.

Former Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar is currently in Kashmir. Sachin’s Kashmir trip has found many anecdotes to share. One more was added when Sachin met with internet sensation Amir Lone. Differently-abled cricketer Amir became an internet sensation when his video of batting without hands and bowling with feet went viral on social media.

Sachin Tendulkar shared a video on his twitter account (now X) chatting with differently-abled cricketer Amir Lone during his Kashmir visit. Amir became an inspiration to many when news agency ANI posted a video on twitter about current Jammu and Kashmir Para cricket captain. Amir bats holding the bat between his shoulder and jaws.

Sachin meets Amir

In a video posted on twitter (now X), Sachin Tendulkar wrote, “To Amir, the real hero. Keep inspiring! It was a pleasure meeting you.” Legendary Indian batter Sachin also met with his family and posed for a picture. Amir had a long chat with Master Blaster. Amir was very emotional after meeting with India’s greatest sports icon Sachin.

Sachin Tendulkar also gifted signed bat to him and his brother as a surprise. Sachin presented the bat in a special way. He asked Amir to not look at him when he was signing the bat. He also asked Amir to show his stance. Sachin also tried to copy Amir’s style of play. Amir recreated a unique Sachin forward defence photograph when Master Blaster asked him to show how he bats.

Sachin Tendulkar earlier reposted the ANI video of Amir and expressed, “And Amir has made the impossible possible. I am so touched watching this! Shows how much love and dedication he has for the game. Hope I get to meet him one day and get a jersey with his name. Well done for inspiring millions who are passionate about playing the sport.”
