India's tour of West Indies 2023
Watch: Suryakumar Yadav's audacious six leaves bowler Jayden Seales in shock

Batting at No. 3, Suryakumar Yadav scored 19 off 25 deliveries with 3 boundaries and 1 six.
Suryakumar Yadav was in action in the first of three ODI matches which is being played at the Kensington Oval in Bridgetown, Barbados on July 27, 2023. India won the toss and chose to bowl first.
This series resumed the Indian team’s preparation for the upcoming World Cup 2023 to be played in India. Mukesh Kumar made his India debut in ODIs, while Ishan Kishan was picked over Sanju Samson as the keeper.
Hardik Pandya opened the bowling and removed Kyle Mayers for 2 runs. Then a small partnership developed between Alick Athanaze (22) and Brandon King (17), but they fell in succession to Mukesh Kumar and Shardul Thakur.
Captain Shai Hope salvaged the innings somewhat and shined with a knock of 45 and seemed to stabilize the innings with Shimron Hetmyer (11). But then Ravindra Jadeja and Kuldeep Yadav ran through the Windies' innings quickly.
Jadeja picked 3/37 in 6 overs, while Kuldeep Yadav took 4/6 in 3 overs as West Indies were bundled for just 114 runs in 23 overs.
Suryakumar Yadav executes his flick shot for a six to tee during his short stay
India began their innings poorly as Shubman Gill was dismissed by Jayden Seales for 7 runs and then Hardik Pandya was run out for 5 runs. Ishan Kishan hammered the West Indies bowlers on a pitch with a spongy bounce as he raced to a quick fifty.
He made 52 in 46 balls with 7 fours and 1 six and fell trying to hit his second six off the bowling of Gudakesh Motie.
Interestingly, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli kept demoting themselves giving other batters a chance to get some batting in the middle.
One of those batters was Suryakumar Yadav, who is under pressure to do well in the ODI format, especially as he was coming after enduring a horror ODI series at home against Australia when he had been dismissed for three consecutive first-ball ducks.
Suryakumar Yadav had a very good IPL 2023 with over 600 runs with one century and five fifties. He had a chance to get himself in and play a decent knock, but he failed as he made only 19 runs in 25 balls with 3 fours and 1 six.
But during his knock, he was able to execute his well-known flick shot for six over the leg side which might have given pleasure to his fans.
