Watch: Virat Kohli hugs back after fan invades pitch to touch RCB star's feet in Lucknow stadium

We have seen many times that fans have breached security to have a moment with their favorite stars. MS Dhoni, Rohit Sharma, and Virat Kohli are some of the mega stars of the game who are admired by all. In the past, during a LIVE game, fans have come out to the playing arena to touch the feet or hug their superstars.

One such incident took place tonight in the RCB and LSG game at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow. After the end of the 7th over and before the beginning of the 8th over, a fan came and touched Kohli's feet. In what was a heart-touching gesture from Virat Kohli, he hugged the fan back and put a million-dollar smile on his face.

Virat Kohli was all pumped up in the innings. Given the result of their previous match, it was once again expected that this match will also be an exciting one. Living up to its expectation, RCB might have won the game but there were moments throughout the game that every fan of the game would have enjoyed.

Lucknow suffer their third straight loss at home

The home advantage seems to be an over-talked component in IPL with many teams not being able to defend their fort successfully this season. After two wins at home at the start of the season for LSG, they have now lost three games in Lucknow on the trot. Out of these three losses, the last two came while chasing.

Against RCB tonight, LSG did not have much to chase though they were down by one batter in the form of KL Rahul who suffered a hamstring injury early in the game. The LSG innings never went going as they kept losing wickets in quick succession and eventually lost the game by 18 runs. They next play Chennai Super Kings at home and will hope for a different result in their next fixture.
