India won the thrilling encounter against Afghanistan by 8 wickets, chasing down the target of 273 in just 35 overs during Match 9 of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023. It was a day filled with electrifying moments, but the one which caught everyone's attention was unexpected gesture between Virat Kohli and Naveen Ul Haq.

The match against Afghanistan had fans on the edge of their seats, with both sides putting up an excellent show. It was the coming together of two players, Virat Kohli and Naveen Ul Haq. In IPL 2023, these two players were involved in a colossal on-field spat, which went on after the match. Kohli and the mentor of LSG, Gautam Gambhir, engaged in a heated exchange.

As Naveen Ul Haq came out to bat in the first innings of the India vs Afghanistan World Cup match, something remarkable happened. The crowd began chanting "Kohli! Kohli!" It was an unexpected show of respect for the former Indian captain, who had shared a an on-field relationship with Naveen just a few months earlier.

During the match, When Kohli and Naveen found themselves in a brief face-off. Instead of exchanging words, they shared a genuine smile and were seen hugging. As Naveen was walking back after his over, he extended his hand for a handshake. Kohli responded with a warm hug, a gesture that surprised everyone and melted hearts worldwide.
