West Indies need 182 to win the second ODI

After being sent to bat, India had a tough run as the middle order crumbled under pressure. Ishan Kishan and Shubman Gill gave an excellent start to the innings. The duo added 90 runs for the first wicket. Gill was the first to go in the 17th over for 34. Ishan Kishan brought up his consecutive half-century but departed at 55.

India lost Sanju Samson, Axar Patel and captain Hardik Pandya cheaply. Suryakumar Yadav, who came in at No 6, notched up 24 runs to take the team to 181 for 10. For West Indies, Gudakesh Motie and Romario Shepherd grabbed three wickets each, while Jayden Seales and Yannic Cariah grabbed one apiece.

West Indies need 182 runs to take the second ODI at their home. India, on the other hand, will be hopeful that their spinners come good once again. In the last match, Kuldeep Yadav and Ravindra Jadeja shared seven wickets between them and rattled the West Indies batting order. The visiting side will once again turn up to Ravindra Jadeja to complete the job in the all-important 2nd ODI.
