After the T20 World Cup 2026 concludes with the final on March 8, India have no international campaign until the end of May. All the Indian players will be busy with the Indian Premier League (IPL 2026) after the World Cup.
The IPL 2026 will commence in the last week of March and is expected to conclude on May 31. After IPL, the Men-in-Blue are scheduled to host Afghanistan in June for a Test and ODI series. The one-off Test match will be played from June 6 to 10 and will be India’s next fixture after the T20 World Cup.
Moreover, the IND vs AFG ODI series will consist of three matches. The first ODI game will take place on June 14 in Dharamsala. The next two matches will be played in Lucknow and Chennai on June 17 and 20, respectively.
