Anshul Kamboj made his India test debut in Manchester against England.
Anshul Kamboj became India‘s 318th test cricketer when he was named in India’s playing XI for the ongoing fourth test against England, which began on Wednesday (July 23) at the Old Trafford Cricket Stadium in Manchester. The Shubman Gill-led side is trailing 2-1 in the five-match series.
The pacer, who did not make the original team, was recruited into the final 11 because of two crucial bowlers’ injuries. Kamboj replaced Akash Deep, who suffered an injury during the Lord’s test. Arshdeep Singh also sustained an injury during practice, ruling him out of the contest.
