Ruturaj Gaikwad’s wife-to-be Utkarsha Pawar was present at the IPL 2023 title win celebrations.

Chennai Super Kings opener Ruturaj Gaiwad has become an integral member of the CSK camp and a future of Indian Cricket. Gaikwad was part of India’s reserve squad for the World Test Championship final at The Oval in England. During the IPL playoffs, he took his name back to stay in India and he is set to begin another partnership in life. Ruturaj Gaikwad is set to marry a member of Maharashtra’s Women’s cricket team Utkarsha Pawar. Ruturaj and Utkarsha will be tying the knot on 3rd June. Recently Utkarasha Pawar was seen celebrating the Chennai Super Kings 5th IPL title win with Ruturaj Gaikwad in Ahmedabad.

Who is Utkarsha Pawar?

Just like Ruturaj, Utkarsha also dons the yellow jersey of Maharashtra in the Indian Domestic circuit. 24-year-old Utkarsha represented Maharashtra in the year 2021. She is an all-rounder who bats right-hand and bowls medium pace. She is also from Pune and along with her cricket career, she is also pursuing a course from the Institute of Nutrition and Fitness Science. Utkarsha has not played any game for Maharashtra after 2021. She last played in domestic cricket on 15 November 2021 against Punjab Women. Pictures of them going viral on Social Media. Gaikwad’s recent Instagram post after the Final also went viral, Gikwad is sitting with his ‘2 VVIPs’ in his life, with MS Dhoni and Utkarsha.

Once again Ruturaj Gaikwad had an outstanding IPL season for Chennai Super Kings. He along with Devon Conway scripted many brilliant opening partnerships to provide CSK great starts in the tournament. Gaikwad in 16 games has scored 590 runs at an average of 42.14 and smashed 4 half-centuries. Gaikwad will be missing out on WTC final due to his wedding with Utkarsha on 3rd June and Yashasvi Jaiswal has replaced him as the reserve member in the team travelling to win their first-ever World Test Championship. India will take on Australia in the final at The Oval starting on 7th June.
