Angkrish Raghuvanshi is the leading run-scorer for KKR in IPL 2026.
Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) are clashing with Delhi Capitals (DC) in the last match of the league stage in the Indian Premier League 2026. The encounter is taking place on May 24 at Eden Gardens, Kolkata.
DC have been eliminated from the tournament and are placed in the eighth spot in the points table. They can leapfrog CSK and KKR in the points table with a victory in the clash. With Rajasthan Royals also beating Mumbai Indians, KKR were also eliminated from the tournament.
KKR captain Ajinkya Rahane won the toss and opted to field first in the match. Notably, Angkrish Raghuvanshi is not part of the playing XI.
Why Angkrish Raghuvanshi miss KKR vs DC clash?

Notably, Raghuvanshi has been ruled out of IPL 2026 due to a finger injury. He sustained the injury in the previous clash against Mumbai Indians, which KKR won.
Due to the injury, he left the field midway in the first innings and was replaced by Tejasvi Dahiya as a concussion substitute. KKR have retained Dahiya as the wicket-keeper in tonight’s clash.
Speaking at the toss, Rahane said, “We will bowl first. It’s pretty simple. We know the scenario depending on what’s going to happen in the previous game, which is happening right now. But regardless of that, we don’t know what the result will be. IPL is a funny tournament with 24–25 players and support staff, maintaining that atmosphere, intensity and carrying it forward every time is fantastic. So yes, I’m really proud of each and every one. Same team”.
Raghuvanshi showed a brilliant form in IPL 2026. He is the highest run-scorer for the side with 422 runs in 12 innings at an average of 42.20 and a strike rate of 146.52. He also hammered five half-centuries in the tournament.
