Glenn McGrath has been dropped from ABC’s commentary panel for The Ashes 2025-26.

Australian bowling legend Glenn McGrath , who was part of the commentary panel for The Ashes 2025-26, has been sacked. He was advertised as part of the Australian Broadcasting Corporation’s (ABC) on-air panel for the marquee series between Australian Cricket Team and England Cricket Team but now won’t b there.

Mark Taylor, Ian Healy, Callum Ferguson, Steve O’Keefe, Aaron Finch, Mel Jones, Mark Taylor, Ricky Ponting are some of the Australian commentators for the series. Ian Ward, Nasser Hussain, Mike Atherton, Eoin Morgan, Kevin Pietersen, Mark Butcher, and Andrew Strauss are some legendary English cricketers who will present their analysis to viewers.

While fans will enjoy from experience of these prominent cricket legends, they will surely miss McGrath, unarguably the most dominating seamer to play for Australia and now a great commentator. Steve Smith is set to captain hosts Australia in the absence of Pat Cummins, while Ben Stokes will lead the visitors England in the most exciting and most-awaited test series of this year.
