Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) are clashing tonight in the Indian Premier League 2026. The encounter is taking place at Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium.
LSG have witnessed a horrible campaign in IPL 2026 so far, having won just two and lost seven of nine games. Rishabh Pant & Co. are at the bottom of the points table with four points and a defeat against RCB might end their hopes of reaching the playoffs.
On the other hand, the Rajat Patidar-led side have won six and lost three out of nine games, and take the third spot in the points table with 12 points. With a victory against Lucknow, they can jump to the top spot in the points table.
RCB captain Rajat Patidar won the toss and chose to field first in the clash. He informed that they did not make any change to their playing XI. On the other hand, Rishabh Pant said that they made a few changes to their side. Notably, Josh Inglis is not part of the clash.
Why is Josh Inglis not part of the LSG vs RCB clash?

Inglis sustained a thumb injury while fielding in the previous game against Mumbai Indians (MI). He left the field midway and did not return to the field. It was his first game in the tournament, where he got out for 13 runs.
Josh Inglis, Mohsin Khan and Avesh Khan are not part of the LSG’s playing XI vs RCB. Arshin Kulkarni and Shahbaz have been added.
Revealing about the playing XI, Pant said, “Few changes in our team. Some injuries – [Josh] Inglis and Mohsin Khan miss out. The only thing is to move with clarity. We know we’re a top team, but the main thing is clarity”.
“We have a few changes in the batting order. Having a stable environment is needed, but we need to make changes at times. Looks like a 180-190 wicket, a better wicket than most of the other games,” he added.
LSG playing XI vs RCB: Mitchell Marsh, Arshin Kulkarni, Nicholas Pooran, Aiden Markram, Rishabh Pant(w/c), Akshat Raghuwanshi, Himmat Singh, Shahbaz Ahmed, Digvesh Singh Rathi, Mohammed Shami, Prince Yadav.
