Mayank Yadav has not played any games for LSG in IPL 2026.
Punjab Kings (PBKS) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) are squaring off in Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 on Sunday, April 19, in New Chandigarh. While Punjab aim to continue with their winning streak, LSG aim for their third victory of the season.
PBKS opted for the same playing XI in the clash like the last game. However, LSG made one change to their playing XI. They replaced Digvesh Rathi with Manimaran Siddharth.
Notably, pacer Mayank Yadav is not part of LSG’s playing XI in the match. He was named as one of the impact substitutes, but was not picked in the first innings while bowling.

LSG have overlooked Yadav once again in the tournament. Yadav is not suffering from any injuries but LSG have benched him in all the games so far in IPL 2026. In the pace department, they have opted with Mohammed Shami, Avesh Khan, Prince Yadav, and Mohsin Khan in the clash.
After opting to field first, Pant said at the toss, “We are going to bowl first. Coming here, we want them to set a total for us. They’ve been one of the best team in the tournament, but at the same time, it gives us that freedom that we can play more freely with them. Generally, I feel, playing for 220 runs is better than playing for 200 sometimes. (Manimaran) Siddharth comes in and (Digvesh) Rathi misses out.”
Meanwhile, Prince, Shami, and Avesh have done a decent job in bowling so far. Prince is the leading wicket-taker for the team with nine wickets, while Shami and Khan have picked up five scalps each. Due to their success, LSG have retained them in tonight’s clash.
Meanwhile, LSG aim to bounce back after losing two games in a row. They lost to RCB and GT in their previous clashes. With just two victories and three defeats out of five games, they languish in the eighth spot in the points table.
