Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) are clashing with Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 on May 7. RCB won the toss and opted to field first in the clash, which is taking place at Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow.
LSG need to win the encounter at any cost to keep their playoffs’ hopes alive. On the other hand, RCB can leapfrog Punjab Kings and Sunrisers Hyderabad in the points table to grab the top position with a victory in the clash.
RCB did not make any changes to their playing XI. On the other hand, LSG captain Rishabh Pant revealed that they have made three changes. Mohsin Khan, Josh Inglis, and Avesh Khan are not part of the encounter. Arshin Kulkarni, Digvesh Rathi and Shahbaz Ahmed were added as replacements.

At the toss, Pant informed that pacer Mohsin Khan is injured.
“We have a few injuries in our team. So Arshin (Kulkarni) comes in for Inglis, he’s a little injured. Mohsin (Khan) is also little injured, and Shahbaz (Ahmed) comes in for Sid (Manimaran Siddharth).”, Pant said.
Mohsin was part of the previous game against Mumbai Indians on May 4, where he picked one wicket. In the prior clash against KKR, he hunted a fabulous five-wicket haul. With 10 wickets in five games at an economy of 7.45, he has done a brilliant job in the bowling department.
Speaking about the match, LSG piled up a mammoth total of 209/3 with an impeccable century by Mitchell Marsh (111). Nicholas Pooran (32) and Rishabh Pant (38) also played crucial knocks. For RCB, Josh Hazlewood, Krunal Pandya, and Rasikh Salam Dar took one wicket each.
