Arshdeep Singh has replaced Deepak Chahar in the playing XI.

India are facing Australia in the final T20I match of the series in Bengaluru. With an already-clinched victory in the series, India have won three out of the 4 games played. Australia won the toss and have elected to field first in a high scoring pitch. India have made one change in their playing XI.

However, a notable change in the playing XI was revealed as Arshdeep Singh replaced Deepak Chahar. Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav disclosed, the exclusion of Chahar.

Deepak Chahar misses out on 5th T20I

During the toss, Suryakumar Yadav leading Indian side, revealed that Deepak Chahar, who played a crucial role in the previous T20I match in Raipur, picking up two wickets, will not be playing in the 5th T20I.Suryakumar Yadav shared, “We would have loved to bowl first. I told the team to not change anything; it was another opportunity to play in front of an amazing crowd, so just go and enjoy. Arshdeep comes in for Deepak Chahar. He (Deepak) has flown back home because of a medical emergency.” Despite the setback of not being able to bowl first, Yadav’s focus remaines on maintaining the winning momentum.

He further emphasised the significance of belief and execution, especially considering the stellar performance of the batting unit in the previous matches. “The way the batting unit has delivered, I just told them to believe and execute,” Yadav expressed.
