WI vs SA 2024: Weather forecast for 1st T20I in Trinidad

WI vs SA 1st T20I match will be played at the Brian Cricket Stadium.
South Africa outclassed hosts West Indies in the two-match test series by defeating them 1-0. The visitors will take on the hosts in a three-match T20I series, starting on August 23rd. All three T20Is will be played at the Brian Lara Stadium, Tarouba, Trinidad.
The Cricket South Africa announced a fresh-looking squad for the three-match T20I series against the Caribbean side. Experienced players Quinton de Kock, Kagiso Rabada, Keshav Maharaj, Tabraiz Shamsi and David Miller are not part of the T20I series against West Indies. Youngsters Kwena Maphaka and Jason Smith have earned their maiden T20I call-ups.
For the West Indies, they have named an experienced squad with Shai Hope, Roston Chase, Nicholas Pooran, and Shimron Hetmyer included in the line-up.

According to Accuweather.com, there is a 46% probability of precipitation in Trinidad on Thursday, August 23. A cloud cover of 87% with a 28% probability of thunderstorms is forecasted as well. According to the hourly forecast, during the match hours, the weather will remain cloudy.
