Axar Patel was hit on his head while fielding during India vs Oman clash on Friday.
India fielding coach T Dilip provided an update on all-rounder Axar Patel’s injury, which he sustained during Friday’s clash against Oman in the ongoing Asia Cup 2025. During the 15th over of Oman’s chase, the all-rounder injured himself while attempting to take Hammad Mirza’s catch.

Earlier in the first innings, Axar played a quick knock of 26 runs off 13 balls with one six and three boundaries. He helped the team to reach a powerful total of 188/8. Earlier, Abhishek Sharma (38) and Sanju Samson (56) provided a brilliant start with the bat.
