Rinku left the India camp to perform the final rites of his late father and then joined team late on Saturday evening.
Rinku Singh is unlikely to feature in the playing XI against the West Indies meaning, India will probably stick with Samson as the opener with Abhishek Sharma, with Ishan Kishan batting at number three. If Samson is to keep his place in the team, he will need to find his mojo back against the West Indies.
