'I am not here to take abuses from anyone'
According to Indian Express, Naveen ul Haq had a chat about the incident with one of his Lucknow Super Giants teammate. Naveen told his teammate, “I have come here to play in the IPL, not to take abuse from anyone”. Afghanistan pacer Naveen ul Haq also posted an Instagram story. In a story, he gave a message, “You get what you deserved that's how it should be and that’s how it goes”. Naveen ul Haq was fined 50% of his match fee for the incident. This all started when Naveen ul Haq came in to bat and Virat said a few words directed at Naveen and he pointed at his shoes.
This made Naveen furious. He came forward furiously towards Virat, and Amit Mishra came in between to intervene. Kohli continued his gesture, giving Mishra signals to keep Naveen cool throughout their partnership. Later when the game got over, Naveen and Virat had an intense handshake. Naveen and Virat again exchanged words between them. RCB all-rounder Glenn Maxwell came in to intervene and separated both these players. Virat Kohli was fined 100% of his match fees. Virat Kohli also had an altercation with LSG mentor Gautam Gambhir. Both exchanged a few words. Gautam Gambhir was also fined 100% of his match fees after this incident.
