The WPL 2025 playoffs will start on March 13.
The TATA Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2025 has finally reached its playoffs stage. The tournament, consisting of 20 league games, has lived up to the hype and featured some nail-biting contests.
Defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru Women (BLR-W) had a poor campaign this year, finishing fourth in the points table with six points, one place ahead of UP Warriorz on better NRR.
Delhi Capitals Women (DEL-W) topped the table with 10 points, while Mumbai Indians Women (MUM-W) and Gujarat Giants (GJ-W) finished second and third with 10 and eight points respectively.

The top three teams from the league stage – Delhi Capitals Women (DEL-W), Mumbai Indians Women (MUM-W), and Gujarat Giants (GJ-W) will feature in the playoffs.
WPL 2025 playoffs: Format
Unlike the Indian Premier League (IPL), where four matches are played in the playoffs, the WPL features only two games in the playoffs. The first game, the Eliminator, will be played between second-placed MUM-W and third-placed GJ-W to decide who will face DEL-W in the final, as they qualified for the final directly by topping the league stage.

Both the Eliminator and the final will be played at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai.
