Yashasvi Jaiswal slammed 87 runs with the bat in the first innings of the ongoing second ENG vs IND test.
Indian Cricket Team opener Yashasvi Jaiswal had a magnificent outing with the bat in the ongoing game against the England Cricket Team. The second game of the five-match series between the teams is taking place at Edgbaston in Birmingham.
Yashasvi Jaiswal, who slammed a century in the last game, made sure that he carried his good form with the bat in the ongoing second match. Opening the innings, the left-hander looked in solid touch as he played brilliant shots, taking his team off to a dream start even though KL Rahul got out early.
Yashasvi Jaiswal put pressure on the England bowlers as he slammed them all over the park. The left-hander hardly put a foot wrong in his innings, and till the time he was batting, it looked like India had taken the command of the game, such was his dominance.
Yashasvi Jaiswal also slammed a powerful half-century and was looking all set for his ton. However, a false shot saw him getting out just a few runs ahead of his century. During the course of his innings, he was also involved in a spat with England skipper Ben Stokes.
After Yashasvi Jaiswal took a single on the delivery from Ben Stokes, the England captain was seen saying something to the young batter. The left-hander, however, was quick to reply as he was heard saying: “You don’t want to hear from me.”
Even after that, the two were saying something to each other, and the moment that went viral on the internet.

Ben Stokes, however, had the last laugh in the battle as he removed Yashasvi Jaiswal and celebrated that wicket very aggressively. The opening batter nicked the delivery outside off and was caught by keeper-batter Jamie Smith behind the stumps.
Yashasvi Jaiswal was back in the hut after scoring 87 runs off 107 balls. The batter slammed 13 fours during his stay at the crease. With his wicket, the Indian Cricket Team lost their third wicket for just 161 runs.
