India Women have suffered a massive setback ahead of the upcoming ODI series against Australia Women and ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025. Wicket-keeper batter Yastika Bhatia has been ruled out of the tournament with a knee injury, which she sustained during the team’s preparatory camp in Visakhapatnam.

Yastika Bhatia is being monitored by the medical team of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). But, her replacement has been named as Uma Chetry, who will be joining the side soon for the Australia ODIs and ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025. India Women are scheduled to play three ODIs against Australia Women at home from September 14 to September 20. Later, they will participate in ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025, scheduled to commence on September 30.
