Yuzvendra Chahal and Dhanashree Verma got separated last year.
Indian spinner Yuzvendra Chahal and choreographer-influencer Dhanashree Verma are reportedly going to appear in a reality show together. The couple, who got divorced last year, are expected to participate in a show titled ‘The 50’.
According to reports, the makers of ‘The 50’ are likely to approach both of them to participate in the show. If they agree, this would be the first time they appear together on a public platform since their divorce.
‘The 50’ is an upcoming reality show that will feature 50 contestants from diverse fields such as sports, film, television, and digital content.
Several other celebrities are expected to be part of the show, such as Orry, Emiway Bantai, Ankita Lokhande, Shiv Thakare, Kusha Kapila, Nikki Tamboli, Shweta Tiwari, Sreesanth, Urfi Javed, Tanya Mittal, and Faisal Shaikh.
The interesting thing is that Chahal has never appeared in a reality show before. However, his ex-wife Dhanashree was part of the reality show named ‘Rise and Fall’.
In the show, she also made some controversial comments about cheating for Chahal, which were categorically rejected by the Indian spinner.
Chahal and Dhanashree got married in 2020
Chahal and Dhanashree connected in 2020 during the COVID-19 lockdown through the latter’s online dancing classes. The duo announced their engagement in August and tied the knot in December 2020.
They were a popular celebrity couple with a lot of fan following on social media platforms. However, the couple began living separately in 2022, with rumours about their separation.
In February 2025, they filed for divorce with mutual consent and were eventually separated in March, marking the end of their four-year marriage.
Meanwhile, Chahal was part of the Haryana team in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy (SMAT) 2025 in November last year. Before that, he also played for Northamptonshire in England’s county cricket. His last game for India was a T20I match against the West Indies in August 2023.
