IND vs AUS: Yuzvendra Chahal heaps praise on "Legend" Ravi Ashwin

Yuzvendra Chahal has praised Ravi Ashwin after splendid performance against Australia.

In the second One Day International (ODI) between India and Australia, India set an imposing target of 400 runs for Australia to chase within 50 overs. However, rain intervened, and the game was disrupted after just nine overs had been played. Consequently, the match officials recalculated the target, reducing it to 317 runs for Australia to achieve within 33 overs.

Ravi Ashwin put on a remarkable display with the ball. He delivered an outstanding spell, managing to take three wickets while giving away only 41 runs in the seven overs he bowled. This performance marked a substantial comeback for Ashwin, as he had been away from One Day International (ODI) cricket for an extended period prior to this series.

Notably, it's worth noting that Ashwin is not included in the 15-members squad for the upcoming ICC Cricket World Cup, which is scheduled to begin on October 5th. However, with the injury to Axar Patel and concerns about Axar's fitness, there could be an opportunity for Ashwin to earn a place in the squad.

On the other hand, Yuzvendra Chahal, another talented Indian spinner who was also not chosen for the World Cup squad, has been actively participating in county cricket, representing Kent. In recognition of Ashwin's outstanding performances, Chahal took to Twitter to express his admiration. He stated that "Ravi Ashwin's name is enough," underscoring the respect and appreciation for Ashwin's performance.
