Where and how to watch the I-League 2022-23?

The competition will be played in the former home & away format this time.
The I-League 2022-23 is kicking off on 12th November at Manjeri Payyanad Stadium, Kozhikode in Kerala on Saturday. The inaugural match will be between defending champions Gokulam Kerala and last year's runners up Mohammedan SC. The last two editions of this tournament was conducted in West Bengal among the COVID-19 restrictions inside a bio-bubble.
The winner of this season can take part in the top tier league of Indian Football, ISL next season without paying a franchise fee. Read to know when and where to watch live all the I-League matches.
Format and teams
After two seasons in bio-bubble and COVID-19 restrictions, the league this year will be conducted as per the traditional home and away format. There will be no restrictions of bio-bubble and the teams are free to move around.
Total 12 teams from across the country will take part in the 16th edition of the I-League. The teams which are competing in the I-League this year are - Aizawl FC, Churchill Brothers, Gokulam Kerala , Kenkre FC, NEROCA, Mohammedan SC, RoundGlass Punjab, Sreenidi Deccan, Real Kashmir, TRAU and Sudeva Delhi. Indian Arrows will not play in this tournament as this developmental team run by AIFF ( All India Football Federation) got disbanded earlier this year.
Where and how to watch I-League 2022-23?
The I-League 2022-23 season consists of 20 match days. It will conclude on 2nd March and in the last match, TRAU will take on Gokulam Kerala.
Gokulam Kerala are aiming for a hat-trick of I-League championships this season. If they win this year's I-League title, they will make history by winning the league title thrice in a row. The winning triumph last season ensured Gokulam's qualification to the AFC Cup group stage as well.
The 16th edition of the I-League will be telecasted live on DD Sports and Eurosport TV channels. The I-League matches will also be streamed live on Discovery+.
