Captains will get booked if they wear one love armband at FIFA World Cup 2022

The Qatar tournament is one of the most controversial of all time
Many players and campaigners have asked nations to wear a single love armband during matches to demonstrate inclusivity in Qatar, a country with laws prohibiting same-sex relationships.
With renowned players such as Harry Kane and Virgil van Dijk of the Netherlands are willing to wear the one love armband. FIFA have pushed players to wear alternative arms during matches, promoting social messages such as "football connects the world," "share the food," and "bring the movements."
Virgil van Dijk of the Netherlands also commented on the situation "I will wear the one love armband tomorrow. Nothing changed in our point of view. If I will get a yellow card for wearing it then we would have to discuss it because I don't like to play while being on a yellow."
What is one love armband?
It is part of a movement spearheaded by players who would wear an armband promoting LGBTQIA rights. It was begun by the Netherlands and has since gained support from England, Denmark, Belgium, Germany, Sweden, Norway, Switzerland, and Wales.
All of these captains will wear the one-love armband in their respective matches. However, FIFA has requested that players disregard the restriction because Qatar does not support homosexuality.
Will players receive the yellow card if they wear the armband?
Although Kane has also stated on wearing the armband in England's first match against Iran, "We have made it clear as a team and staff and organization that we want to wear the armband." he added, "I know the FA are talking to FIFA at the moment and I'm sure by game time tomorrow they will have their decision I think we have made it clear we have to wear it."
Regardless of whether the player wears the one-love armband, the referee will have no choice except to book Kane to begin the game. The FA could be fined if they allow Harry Kane to wear the one-love armband.
Although FIFA will respond to the FA on Monday morning, the FA prefers that players prepare for the big encounter on Monday lunchtime.
