Some foreign players put in worldly performances this past week.

The 10th gameweek in the 2022-23 Indian Super League (ISL) produced 21 goals, making it the highest-scoring gameweek so far this season. From breath-taking finishes to late drama, this week saw it all.

ATK Mohun Bagan overcame Jamshedpur FC with a tight 1-0 win thanks to a late penalty from Hugo Boumous. Hyderabad FC posted consecutive wins, courtesy a 2-0 win over East Bengal. FC Goa snapped their two-game winless run with a resounding 3-0 victory over Odisha FC.

Vincenzo Alberto Annese had a horrific start to his tenure at NorthEast United as the Highlanders conceded seven against Chennaiyin FC. Kerala Blasters finished the GW winning their fifth game in a row, defeating Bengaluru FC 3-2 in Kochi.

Hyderabad FC moved to the top of the table having played a game more than any other team. Mumbai City (who didn't play this week) feature on second while ATK Mohun Bagan, Kerala Blasters, Odisha FC and FC Goa occupy the following playoff spots. NorthEast United however, continue to languish at the bottom, having lost all nine games so far this season.

Let's take a look at five players that stood out for their clubs this GW.

5. Mohammed Yasir

Hyderabad FC's No. 10 dazzled for his team in their 2-0 win over East Bengal. Yasir scored the opener with a sensational volley and caused trouble for Stephen Constantine's men throughout the game. He had the fourth-highest number of touches (51) on the night and completed 79% of his passes. Defensively, he won three tackles (second highest by an HFC player) and made one clearance and interception, respectively.

4. Dimitrios Diamantakos

The Greek striker led his side past Bengaluru FC with a great all-round performance. Diamantakos completed the comeback for Kerala Blasters, overturning the early penalty scored by Sunil Chhetri. The striker then assisted Apostolos Giannou for the third goal to put the game beyond the Blues' reach.

Diamantakos showed great strength and a good work ethic to contribute in all departments for Ivan Vukomanovic's side. Three of his four shots were on target. He also created two chances on the night. He had the fourth-highest number of touches by a KBFC player (40) and completed 72% of his passes. Defensively, the forward won a tackle.

3. Petar Sliskovic

The German produced the goals once again for the Marina Machans with a brace against NorthEast United. Interestingly, all five goals for Sliskovic (including the brace against NEUFC) this season, have come from headers.

Sliskovic further assisted Nasser El Khayati's hat-trick goal. His aerial presence and calm head on the ball allowed Thomas Brdaric's side to dominate the game up front. The striker created three chances and completed 65% of his passes. All this came in an hour's work against the hapless Highlanders.

2. Noah Sadaoui

The Moroccan continued his wonderful form and inspired his side to a 3-0 win against Odisha FC. He contributed to all three goals, scoring one himself and assisting the other two.

Noah created four chances overall and attempted a game-high six crosses on the night. He completed 68% of his passes but looked more threatening on the dribble, beating players for fun. Defensively, the Moroccan won his only attempted tackle and made one clearance.

1. Nasser El Khayati

The Moroccan produced arguably the best individual display in ISL history. El Khayati contributed in five of Chennaiyin FC's seven goals against Vincenzo Annese's men. His feat included a hat-trick and two assists as he single-handedly ripped NorthEast United apart with his movement, dribbling and ruthless finishing.

Four of El Khayati's six attempted shots went on target (three of them being goals) and the Dutchman created four chances on the night. He had the most number of touches by any player in the game (87), attempted and completed most passes (75 and 59, respectively) with a 79% pass completion rate. His tally of five goal contributions is the highest by any player in the history of the league.
