The Tajik midfielder parted ways with Mohammedan SC in December.

Former Mohammedan SC midfielder Nuriddin Davronov has penned a contract with Real Kashmir, Khel Now can confirm. A source close to the development informed Khel Now, "Nuriddin has signed for Real Kashmir. His contract will run till the end of the season."

With the addition of Nuriddin, who was a Tajikistan national team player as well, Real Kashmir will be aiming to reach greater heights in the ongoing I-League 2022-23 season. Meanwhile, the midfielder has already started training as today was his first session at the club.

About the Player

Nuriddin Davronov recently featured for Mohammedan SC in the I-League 2022-23. He was signed by the club prior to the season and even featured in the Durand Cup, where the club made it till the semi-finals. If statistics are to taken into account, the Tajik midfielder registered only one assist in his 14 appearances for the club across both Durand Cup (five) and I-League (9).

Soon to turn 32, Davronov has played for clubs like Istiqlol, Barqchi, Dunav, Oman Club, Madura United and Borneo FC in his career. Notably, he was also a part of Lokomotiv Moscow's U-19 team during his younger days. The pedigree or rather potential he has wasn't properly witnessed at Mohammedan SC. But Real Kashmir might be the ideal place for Nuriddin to showcase his talent and perhaps add a couple of years in the I-League by compelling the employers to offer him a new contract!

Real Kashmir's ongoing I-League season

The team from Kashmir are looking really solid this season. Under the tutelage of Mehrajuddin Wadoo, the Snow Leopards find themselves in the third position of the I-League 2022-23 table. They have collected 16 points from their nine matches, registering five wins, one draw and three losses.

However, their goal-scoring numbers haven't been great. Real Kashmir have netted the ball home 10 times till now and have conceded seven times. With Nuriddin Davronov joining the side, they are expected to gel more in the attacking third.
