The 2022-23 footballing season is fast approaching its culminating period. With Champions League football returning this week and most leagues now getting ready for the biggest battles of the season, we can be sure of utter footballing drama.

Club football this season so far, has been nothing short of a complete Euphoria. Goal galore, twists and turns have comprised this finely poised 2022-23 season, which we will long cherish. Some players have also impacted the season like no other. Mesmerising the entire footballing world with their incredible performances and abilities.

Today, we’ve compiled a list of the top 11 players, with the most goal contributions so far this season in Europe’s top five leagues.

11. Neymar - 35 (18 goals and 17 assists)

Neymar has had an incredible resurrection this season. After suffering in the past few seasons with the Parisians, it finally seems like Neymar has found his form back, as the Brazilian has brought the beautiful saga of Jogo Bonito back to the Parc Des Princes. The Brazilian so far has an astounding 22 goal contributions in Ligue 1 and is the only player with double figures in both goals and assists in Europe’s top five leagues.

The 31-year-old returned to Lyon in 2022. He has regained back his top form and scored 26 goals in Ligue 1. Lacazette has won the Coupe de France in his first spell at the club. He will be eyeing for more glory on his return to the French side.

The belligerent Belgian has been in impeccable form and has racked up the assists as usual. The man for the big occasions has linked up superbly with Erling Haaland and has stepped up his game another notch. He has been a reliable outlet of creativity and in a record-breaking season for his partner-in-crime Haaland, De Bruyne is putting up a show of his own by scoring key goals.

Frankfurt’s Kolo Muani has been in top-notch form this season. This season so far this season, Kolo has 19 goals and 14 assists the most goal contributions in Frankfurt. The French attacker has been exceptional with his anchor play and speed, which has helped him immensely with his performances. One of the biggest reasons for his high praises this season has been his incredible playmaking along with his high numbers as a goalscorer.

7. Robert Lewandowski – 39 (32 goals and 7 assists)

Messi has a total of 20 goals and 18 assists already so far this season. Apart from that, his numbers in the Champions League are also incredible, as the Little Magician has eight goal contributions in Europe’s elite competition.

Rashford has re-established himself as the star that shines across Old Trafford and has stamped his authority, courtesy of his standout performances, and incredible goal-scoring form.

This fact is very well depicted in his off-the-chart numbers, as he recently won the highest goalscorer award in the World Cup and is also the top goalscorer in Ligue 1 and the Champions League.

Haaland has been fantastic in 2022-23. The Norwegian has netted 36 goals in the Premier League, and he is showing no signs of stopping anytime soon. Haaland has brought complete bliss and exhilaration to the Etihad and has somewhat aided their poor performances at times.
