The Blue Tigers will play their matches on 25 and 28 March.

India are set to host Myanmar and Kyrgyz Republic in the Tri-Nation Friendly Tournament from 22 to 28 March at the Khuman Lampak Stadium in Manipur. Northeastern state Manipur will host its first official international match. On 12 March, AIFF announced the television and streaming partners for the event - Star Sports and Disney+Hotstar.

Head coach Igor Stimac is expected to announce the Indian squad after the completion of the ISL semi-finals. The players featuring in the final will miss out on playing the friendlies. 2023 is going to be a busy year for the Blue Tigers. The Super Cup will begin in April after the completion of friendlies.

India will host the Intercontinental Cup and the SAFF Championships in June and July (dates to be confirmed). Initially, Nepal were chosen as the hosts for the SAFF Championship. But due to commercial and marketing reasons, India were awarded the hosting rights. The postponed 2022 Asian Games will be held in September 2023. Mainly U-23 players along with a few seniors will feature in the squad which will ply its trade in China.

Igor Stimac in his recent interview spoke about the AFC Asian Cup as well. He informed, “The squad will assemble in December if the 2023 AFC Asian Cup is held in January 2024”. So players, after the halfway stage of the ISL, will represent the national team at the continental championships.
