Blaugranas need to add firepower to the squad and Laporta has indicated areas that the club wants to fill in.

For Barcelona, this summer is going to be really significant. Due to the club's perilous financial state, they are currently €200 million over the La Liga pay cap, which means sales must be generated in order to balance the club's accounts.

A forward will be sought after this summer, according to president Joan Laporta, but newcomers will also be considered. Vitor Roque, a young Brazilian player, has drawn significant interest, and Athletico Paranaense is supposedly in the middle of negotiations.

Laporta said that one player might be sold to make room for a prospective addition of an aggressive player. While Ousmane Dembele will almost surely sign a new contract with Barcelona in the next months to secure his future, Robert Lewandowski will unquestionably remain.

Including, that left Ferran Torres, Raphinha and Ansu Fati as prospective departures. Although each of the three has demonstrated their value at various points in their Barcelona careers, none will likely be regarded as a regular starter when Lewandowski and Dembele recover from their injuries.

Although there are valid reasons for each of the three to remain at the club this summer, it appears fairly probable that at least one of them will depart. In the approaching transfer window, the trio will have suitors, so club officials may need to accept the highest deal that they are presented with.

Speaking to the press Laporta also stated a potential return for Lionel Messi and other signings.

"He’s at PSG right now, so I don’t want to speak about whether or not he could return. Leo's thing isn't about money, we're talking about a tribute."

"will surely sign a full-back" ahead of the 2023/2024 season.

"A central defender, it depends. We will try as far as we can to make signings. A striker, surely yes. Someone will have to leave. In midfield, I think we have a great one and I don't think it's necessary [to bring in new players],"

3. Ferran Torres

Since leaving Manchester City in January of last year, the 22-year-old has had difficulty. Only six goals and four assists have been recorded by him in the 31 La Liga games he has participated in. Torres has slipped down the Camp Nou hierarchy with the additions of Robert Lewandowski and Raphinha in the summer.

In addition, Barcelona is now thinking of selling Torres. The team will seek agreements on his sale in an effort to recover the majority of the €55 million they spent on him just 11 months ago.

2. Raphinha

According to rumours, Barcelona is willing to sell Raphinha during the summer transfer window, but only if a potential buyer is willing to shell out £100 million for his services.

During the 2022–2023 season, the 26-year-old made 23 games for Barcelona while playing for Leeds United. He scored three goals during this time.

The Brazilian international, though, has had trouble securing a spot in Xavi's starting lineup. He is rumoured to be open to a transfer as a result, with a move to the Premier League being his likely final destination.

1. Ansu Fati

Fati is currently unable to live up to the promise he displayed when he first came into the first squad as a 16-year-old back in 2019. Fati has been absent for much of this season. He has already had opportunities this year to demonstrate his value to Xavi but has generally failed to do so due to injuries, which hasn't helped his cause.

Also, there are rumours that Barcelona is considering offloading Fati, who is coveted by Manchester United and Bayern Munich.
