The best player in the Premier League according to judges is honoured each month of the season with the Premier League Player of the Month award in association football. A panel of specialists, the captain of each Premier League club, and online public voting, which accounts for 10% of the final total, are combined to choose the winner.

For the 1993–94 season, the Premier League added new Manager of the Month and Manager of the Season awards to the PFA and Football Writers' Association Player of the Year honours already in place.

The Premier League established the Player of the Month award for the 1994–1995 season. It is given out in conjunction with the Manager of the Month award. Jürgen Klinsmann of Tottenham Hotspur received the first Player of the Month accolade for his efforts in August 1994.

List of Managers of the Month award winners

The Premier League Manager of the Month honours the top Premier League manager every month during a season in association football. An expert jury and an open online vote, which accounts for 10% of the overall results, are combined to determine the winner.

For the 1993–94 season, the Premier League added new Manager of the Month and Manager of the Season honours to the PFA and Football Writers' Association Player of the Year honours already in place.

For his accomplishments in August 1993, Alex Ferguson, the manager of Manchester United, received the first Manager of the Month award. The Premier League established the Player of the Month award for the 1994–1995 season. It is given out in conjunction with the Manager of the Month award.
